Creative and innovative, their refined arrangements and their stage play turn
every track into a call to journey. A lofty harp, enchanting strings, rhythmic
electro, animist poetry and a soul voice mingle into melancholic, cinematic or
explosive energies. The autistic spectrum opens Ourse a door to a thriving
hypersensitive world, one which she imposes rather than hide. Each extract tells
a sensual story, that must be listened to should it not be understood ; just
like rain.
They also sign the directing of their first clip, « My Alter Echo » -
crafted by their own hands, for Kobutsune write, compose, edit and think
everything by themselves. Their fans describe their self-made universe as «
the meeting of Kate Bush, Björk and Me’shell Ndegeocello ».
You’d need to be a fine geographer to know, when listening to The Geisha
Nun, in which dazzling country you arrived. These are the tunes you listen to at
the bottom of the sea, or deep into your own head.

Kobutsune (Indie) est porté par Ourse, autrice-compositrice- interprète
congolaise, et Toops, claviériste, guitariste et ingénieur son. Autrefois
ancrée dans le collectif The Nunk & Le 61 Crew, leur rencontre donnera
naissance à lalbum The Geisha Nun.
Leurs différences et influences génèrent un univers poétique,
éclectique et inclassable. Créatifs et curieux, leurs arrangements
dorfèvre et leur jeu scénique font de chaque titre une invitation au
voyage. Harpe aérienne, cordes envoûtantes, rythmiques électro,
poésie animiste et voix soul sy fondent en énergies mélancoliques,
cinématiques ou explosives. Kobutsune n’est pas sa chance de
s’exprimer dans le monde extérieur, c’est la nôtre de
pouvoir l’entendre exprimer le sien. Chaque morceau raconte des histoires
sensuelles, qui doivent être écoutées, attentivement, à défaut
dêtre comprises ; comme la pluie.
Ils signent aussi la réalisation de leur premier clip, «My Alter Echo»
conçu par leurs propres soins, car Kobutsune écrivent, composent, montent
et pensent tout par eux-mêmes. Leurs fans décrivent leur monde autodidacte
comme la rencontre de Kate Bush, Björk et Meshell Ndegeocello. Fin
géographe serait celui qui saurait, en écoutant The Geisha Nun, en quel
pays grisant il est arrivé. Ce sont les sons qu’on écoute au fond
de la mer, ou de sa propre tête.

Future ( label Folistar ), un disque sur lequel apparaît une scène
électro internationale.
