the two genres colliding, can delight here, as the seventies experimental rock
Holy Grail of Andwella's three albums receive a detailed, comprehensive reissue.
The Northern Irish psych-blues group were led by songwriting wunderkind David
Lewis, who defined the captivating sound of their first two albums, two heady
trips of Santana-ish Hammond organ and guitar freakouts. Although their third
and final LP plucked from a more mainstream area of rock, Lewis led the band
through equally refined compositions, oozing a near virtuosic musicality to
match the decade's best players. As well as all three albums, To Dream also
features a booklet, documenting the short yet intense period when Lewis was at
his lowest, yet his songwriting reached its creative height.
