Master Music Disc, released every year by Hong Kong Master Music, is always an
anticipated annual event for enthusiasts from all over the world. This
year’s fantastic selection of 14 tracks includes 5 female voices, 3 male
voices, 2 piano songs, 2 classical songs, A jazz performance & a new century
music collection, covering a wide range, not only covers all aspects of audio
testing, but also include this year’s fever song. The 1st “Perfect
Tango” will surely make you unable to stop it. The song performed by the
4-person tango group Otros Aires not only has a strong male voice & wonderful
orchestra, plus a heavy electronic bass & a light, crisp guitar playing, is
definitely a big test for an audio system. The 1st Canadian Blues singer Bill
Bourne sings “Broken Dream Road” & the 3rd Barbara Straathof concert
“Welcome to My World”, just use the guitar accompaniment, you can
hear the male voice & female voice singing different sound quality beauty. 5th
by Japan Venus record-making Nicki Parrott singing Cap Bent Brother’s
“Rainy Days & Mondays” is a wonderful interpretation you can not
miss. 6th guitarist Joel Xavier & bassist Ron Carter 2 “Destiny”
where the bass line is full of elasticity, clear & realistic texture, is
definitely used to test the best low-frequency tracks.
On the 9th, Martin Kälberer, a German new generation pianist, devotes himself
to exploring the infinite possibilities of the piano & creating a fantastic
dream world in the name of “the East.” The female voice of the 11th
Le Bang Bang orchestra echoes the bass brilliance, portraying Cyndi
Lauper’s “Time After Time” a new take on the classic track,
bass up & down the scales, with a rich & brilliant voice. Female pianist Solfrid
Molland from Norway, creates a unique song with St. John’s Church in
Gdansk, Poland, an infinite reverie with trumpet playing. KKV’s recording
effect is to create an ethereal dream atmosphere. Greek piano philosopher
Vassilis Tsabropoulos, with piano & female voice, has a unique mood. The 2
classical pieces selected for this time are Fritz Kreisler’s
“Paganini Minuet” (8) & “Mozart: String Serenade KV625”
(14) performed by the Polish Chamber Orchestra.
